Truck Yard Seal Coating and Striping, Penske, Concord NC

This is the largest single surface on the site. Crown Paving sealcoated 342,926 square feet of truck yard across seven mobilisations, laying down 7,621 gallons of asphalt emulsion sealer in two coats, then striping over it.

The layout is what makes a yard like this different from a parking lot. Alongside the 40 standard stalls sit 8,000 linear feet of trailer stalls, plus 820 feet of hash marks, 260 stencils and ten eight-foot arrows, all of which have to read clearly to a driver reversing a 53-foot trailer.

The site never closed. Access to the fuel station, the front doors and the bays stayed open for the full seven days, which is what dictated the sequence: seal a section, let it cure, stripe it, move on.
