Line Striping & Pavement Markings
Whether your pavement markings have faded over time or your site layout needs to be reconfigured, Crown Paving delivers crisp, professional striping and pavement markings.
Line Striping
Fresh line striping does more than improve the appearance of your parking lot; it enhances safety, organization, and traffic flow. Over time, pavement markings fade due to traffic and weather exposure, making parking lots look neglected and increasing liability risks. Crown Paving restores crisp, highly visible markings that improve curb appeal and help customers navigate your property with confidence.

Brand Specific Stencils
From national retailers and restaurants to local businesses, Crown Paving maintains an extensive library of brand-specific stencils to ensure your pavement markings meet corporate standards. If a custom stencil is required, our team can create and install it to your exact specifications. Whether it’s logos, reserved parking designations, or specialty markings, we help reinforce your brand throughout your property.
Traffic Markings
Proper traffic markings are essential for maintaining safe and efficient vehicle movement throughout your property. Crown Paving installs arrows, stop bars, fire lanes, no parking zones, crosswalks, loading areas, and other specialty markings in accordance with local requirements and site needs. Clear pavement markings improve safety, reduce confusion, and help protect both drivers and pedestrians.

What Markings Does a Commercial Parking Lot Need?
At minimum: parking stall striping, accessible ADA symbols and their access aisles, fire lanes, and directional arrows for traffic flow. Beyond that, most commercial properties also need crosswalks, stop bars and yield lines, no parking zones, loading zones and custom stenciling. Crown Paving installs all of them. Accessible markings carry legal requirements ordinary striping does not, which is a separate scope: ADA compliance.
What Are Glass Beads and Why Do They Matter?
Glass beads are tiny spheres broadcast into the paint while it is still wet. Light from a headlight enters each bead, reflects off the back of it and returns toward the driver, which is what keeps a line visible at night and in rain instead of disappearing into wet asphalt. It is the difference between markings that work around the clock and markings that only work in daylight.

Is Re-striping a Capital Expense or an Operating Expense?
An operating expense. Repainting parking lines, accessible symbols and directional arrows restores the lot to its original condition, and where that happens annually or otherwise more than once in a 10-year period, IRS guidance treats it as expensed rather than capitalized. Adding parking spaces or laying out entirely new sections is a different question. See Understanding Commercial Parking Lot Expenses, and confirm the treatment with your own tax advisor.
